Not every boxer can do this job to win the boxing match and give pride and honor to our country. It was done by one of our country's boxer in the previous SEA Games to win the match against his opponent by using the technic and style Dempsey Roll.


The style was created by one of the Boxing Icon in the world Jack Dempsey who was a boxing legend in the 1920's who popularized the Dempsey Roll for his winning punch. The Dempsey Roll includes the weaving of the boxer's body roaming a left and right movement creating a number eight form.

The users slammed his opponents with a blow from left to right direction. It was adapted by Featherweight Boxer Makunouchi Ippo in the anime boxing series Hajime No Ippo which was becoming widely known moves and style.

Although many boxers have different technics and style, not all of them can do the job. But it is an amazing move of one Amateur Pinoy Boxer in the previous 28th South East Asian Nation Games last 2015 was able to do the amazing technics and it went viral because of the on going 29th SEA Games of 2017 and it was almost 3 years after the game.

The Pinoy amateur Boxer Ian Clark Bautista utilized the technic against his opponent and win the match with a mighty left hook.

Ian Clark Bautista interrupts his weaves with flash hooks and fortunately land a solid left hook against his opponent face that immediately knocks down the Laotian opponent.

The short clip video was uploaded in a Youtube Channel and makes many rounds on the internet after the video maker compiled the boxing scenes from the real boxing match and famous cartoon boxing series.
