Showing De Lima's scandal video was disrespectful and illegal,Liberal Party Senator said.On Thursday allies of President Duterte plans to expose the scandal video of De Lima in House Hearing, but LP Senator said it was disrespectful if they show De Limas's Scandal Video.
Pantaleon Alvarez and Justice Secretary Vitaliano Arguirre II they said that there's nothing wrong if they play the scandal video of De Lima and her Driver Ronnie Dayan.
Duterte's Allies said that the scandal video of De Lima and Her Former Driver can help to resolve the case about receiving money from dr*gs in Bilibid.
But LP Senator Drilon,Pangilinan,and Ban Aquino defense De Lima,They said that plan was “disrespectful, deplorable, and illegal.”
“Regardless of the authenticity of the alleged videos, viewing it is disrespectful to a sitting senator, to her person, and to the office she holds, and is violative of the law,” LP Senator Said.
"If they show the scandal video they violate the Anti-Voyeurism Law,Anti-Wiretapping Law,and the Revised Penal Code on Crimes againts Honor, LP Senator said".
“We appeal to the members of House of Representatives to be more circumspect of our larger roles as legislators: safekeepers of governance traditions and examples to our children,” LP Senator said.
House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez gives a command for the House committee on justice to play the scandal video of De Lima for the next hearing.
“Tinanong ako kahapon, kung saka-sakali lang na may mag-presenta niyan, papayagan ko bang ilabas ito sa committee [I was asked yesterday, if ever someone will present the video, would I allow it to be shown to the committee],". House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez said on radio DZMM
"Sabi ko, wala namang problema, kung sa pagpalabas noon ay may makuha tayong katotohanan [I said there’s no problem with that, if showing it we’ll give us the truth], so be it." He said.
De Lima denied accusing against to her, and she challenge President Duterte to arrest her.
