It was an instant talk of the town and makes many rounds on the internet regarding the controversial video of the internet star Maria Sofia Love. Her videos that make her sensation was "modeling para sa ekonomiya" and her humorous punch lines "Ituloy ang modeling!Pak!" had been the favorites of her fans. The people could not resist her own styled videos by walking and roaming around London, having fun in clubs and looking out for a hunk guys while eating.On the other hand, one certain video that makes her controversial especially to the Filipino people that result in the enraged and blood boiling emotions felt by her countrymen that make her trending and talk of the town all over the internet and social media. The Facebook Page "Ang Galing Mo Pinoy" posted the controversial video of the model dancing to the tune of the Philippine Nationa Anthem" Lupang Hinirang".
Since it is inappropriate to use it for official purposes, she decided to do the disrespect on our National Anthem by making some twist modeling and dancing to the tune of the National Anthem which is a display disrespecting.
Based on the video uploaded, she was in a tight red one piece swimsuit supposedly making joke and fun of the National Anthem as she put her hand to her private parts instead of putting above her heart as a sign of respect and it is the custom of all Filipino people showing respect and reverence to our National anthem.
As the video goes on, she revolves and performed and dance in an indecent move to the music without showing a respect and reverence for the National Anthem. It is automatically, that many patriotic and nationalist netizen was troubled and disappointed with her action. A few of the netizen mentioned in the comments regarding the House Bill 5224 (HB 5224), concerning an update on how our National Anthem should be performed and played.
It is very clear, that the controversial transgender model Maria Sofia Love have violated and abused the provisions of the House Bill. particularly the part stating the National Anthem must be sung with devoutness and wholeheartedness the lyrics and with a respect and salute displaying our respect and reverence by standing at an attention with the right palms over their left chest. The National Anthem shall not be played and sung preceding events of mere recreation, amusement or entertainment purposes except for official purposes. The person who is guilty and violated the laws will be fine of Php 50,000 but not exceeding Php 100,000.
The Netizens are now demanding a public apology and others to be in pris*n for what she has done to the National Anthem. Presently, the transgender model, Maria Sofia Love has no explanation or any statements regarding the issue.
