If ever that an OFW or its dependents were sick and hospitalized in the country it is not needed to show their Members Data Record (MDR) if the hospital has the access on Health Care Institution Portal or HCI Portal. If the hospital has no access on HCI Portal they can go to the nearest Philhealth office to take a copy of MDR or email to ofp@philhealth.gov.ph. OFW members of Philhealth encouraging them to visit on Philhealth website at www.philhealth.gov.ph and use the online inquiry facility that can be found on the right part of the website homepage. In that Online Inquiry Facility, the member can check the payment contribution record and other detailed information about their Philhealth membership.OFW can access the link https://memberinquiry.philhealth.gov.ph.
If the member encountered a problem on taking medical benefits in the hospital, they can ask assistance, including their dependents in the assigned Philhealth Customer Assistance. Relations and Empowerment Staff or P-CARES staff and personnel on selected hospital nationwide private or public hospital. The personnel is always ready to help and assist to all the PhilHealth Members.
