The wife filed a complaint against her husband in the Women's and Children's Protection Desk (WCPD) of violating the"Anti-Violence Against Women and Children (RA 9262). The wife identified as Jocel Peña, 30 years old that filed the complaint and her husband identified as Resie Peña. 34 years old a tricycle driver and the same residing in Barangay Suizo, Tarlac City.
In the report of PO2 Janeth Galutan of the Tarlac City Police last December 16, 2011. Jocel Peña went to Malaysia to work as a waitress and regularly remitted money for all their family expenses including allowances of her children. And it came to her knowledge that her husband sold their tricycle last March 27, 2014.
After her contract, he went back to the Philippines last December 19, 2016, and found out that her alleged husband wasted the money she remitted for his family and allowances of her children. It shocked her because the money she expected to be used for their family needs and allowances of her children were wasted in gambling and the worst for the incident is that her husband had a relation to another girl. These were the reasons that she filed a complaint against her irresponsible husband.
