Noynoy Aquino, Mar Roxas, Leila De Lima and other Six Officials Charged with Graft and Plunder Case

The former President Benigno Aquino III, Former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas II and Former DOJ Secretary Leila De lima now a senator and six other officials were complained about the graft and plunder cases by allegedly for the shipment of 3,500 metric tons of gold worth $ 141 Million of gold bars in Thailand.The other officials that were included in the graft and plunder case were BSP Governor Amando Tetangco Jr., Former Finance Secretary Cesar Purisima, Treasury Department Chief dealer Lorelei Fernandez and Sen. Franklin Drilon.

The complaint was based on the alleged BSP circular with 3,500 metric tons of gold bars were shipped and deposited in the bank of Thailand.The complainant Rogelio Cantoria and his lawyer Fernando Perito wants to return the gold bars to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.The gold bars was weighing 12.5 kilos and have a purity of 99.999 percent.

The 3500 metric tons of gold bars that were shipped to Thailand together with the circular of Bangko Sentral Ng Pilipinas Circular no.0049. It was posted on Facebook account of Rolando Polosan garnered many negative comments from the netizens.
