De Lima received award, dedicated to Filipino who fought for democracy

Sen Leila De Lima was among the 100 foreign Policy Global Thinkers recognized by Washington D.C. last Monday. She receives an award from the famous International Political Magazine for standing up against Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. The lady senator was included in the category of " Challengers" and was honored the global thinker for " standing up to an extremist leader." De Lima said she receive the award because she stands against the extra judicial k*llings and other policies of the Duterte administration " I'd like to think that it's because of my stance against the extra judicial k*llings and other policies ng ating kasalukuyang administrasyun."

She also warned that the human rights and extra judicial k*llings in our country will not get better. De Lima added that" Napaka-deplorable po ng sitwasyon natin sa Pilipinas, hinggil sa usapin ng karapatang pantao," she said. "Walang katapusan, araw-araw na pinapatay in the name of the war on drugs... Talaga pong tinutukan natin from day 1.Bihirang-bihira naman tayo nakakita ng mga pinapatay nila na mga high profile drug lords so napaka-questionable talaga."

She monitor the extra-judicial k*llings from day one and many have been k*lled in the name of the war on dr*gs. And it is very rare that high profile dr*g dealers killed on the war on dr*gs.

The lady senator said that the extra judicial k*lling will not be stop in our country, if she will not stand against the k*llings.The award she received was a recognition to her and has a meaning and great purpose in the democracy. She offers the award to all her countrymen especially to the one who fought for the democracy and preserving it.
