Many OFW were abused and maltreated in Kuwait but this story is different from the rest. it was a very sad and shame to one Pinoy OFW who was arrested in Kuwait after was found stealing a total of 16 iPhone 7 Plus using other names of the person.
According to the Kuwait Times, the Pinoy OFW was arrested and it was unidentified because of his falsification of documents of another person to buy expensive smartphone and plans in one of the telecom company in the area.
Based on the investigation, the Pinoy OFW know the password of the computer of his friend which is working in one of the shops of Telecom Services. He allegedly used the names in the databases of the shop to buy 16 pieces of iPhones. Then he sells it for a lower price with a discounted price of 20%, according to the report.
The modus operandi was found by the OFW after some clients complain because they were required to pay the telephone bills that they have not used and consumed.The suspect was immediately arrested and confessed in the falsification of documents after questioning of the falsification of documents.
