Vice Ganda Is Opposing The Death Penalty Although Of Being A Victim Of Violence

The father of Kapamilya star comedian Vice Ganda was shot and died in front of him when he was in the teenage years. His experience regarding the tragic incident that happened to his father did not hinder him from fighting strongly against the restoration of the capital punishments de*th penalty. Based on the Inquirer, the suspect behind the kil*ings is still free. Nevertheless, he still acknowledges that the de*th penalty as the uncompassionate act that no one deserves to receive it. Being a person that witness with his own eyes the tragic incident happened to his father being on the de*th row cannot provide justice to him.

Vice Ganda told to the media interview
"Kunwari ako, pinatay ang tatay ko, hindi makakapagbigay ng katarungan sa akin, bilang naulila, ang patayin din iyong pumatay sa tatay ko," 
The unkabogable star considers that there is a great urgency to amend the current justice system first before restoring the capital punishment de*th penalty. He also certain that not all convicts are truly convictable of their crimes. It will be very unfair for them to be punished with de*th if they truly did not accomplish the crime implicated upon them.

The unkabogable star added
"Naniniwala ako na hindi lahat ng nakakulong ay may kasalanan kaya hindi rin makatarungan kung ang mga mapapatawan ng ganoong parusa ay iyong mga wala namang kasalanan," 
In addition to this, he also provides high regards to the children who might be taken away from their parents because of the capital punishment.

He added that no kid deserves to suffer the sorrow that he felt when his father's life was taken away at the young age.Vice Ganda considers that
"Walang sinumang bata, walang sinumang anak ang nakakadeserve ng ganoong bagay, ang mawalan ng magulang sa pamamagitan ng pagpatay. Kaya hindi ako naniniwala na dapat may pinapatay dahil mahalagang mahalaga iyong buhay,"
