It was an incident that went viral when a roman catholic Priest who supposedly bossy during a sad incident of having a burial mass in Bacong, Negros Oriental. Father Jose Abellar is now in an investigation of the Diocese of Dumaguete which is responsible for supervising the pastoral works in the province of Negros Oriental. In the Facebook post of a concern Netizen, Nikki Gonzales explained how the priest forcibly to kneel the attendees in the spiritual mass including a non-Catholic and with a disabled person. A video footage of the incident last Saturday went viral on the internet which garnered 14,000 shares.Based on Nikki she was a Basconian and Paulinian and she always revered the priest and have a high respect for them but in that incident, it starts to disappear because of the arrogance made by the alleged priest. Gonzales shared what was really happen, she was attending a bur*al mass of her late grandfather. All of the attendees are not Roman Catholics and during the mass will start they have sat. Because her grandfather has arthritis on her both knees and she had another uncle who was a person with a disability is a diabetic. The old man was not able to walk and can sit very well.
When the priest will start the bur*al mass, through the microphone announcing that the mass will not be started unless all the attendees will kneel. The priest focuses on the disabled uncle of Nikki Gonzales and repeatedly announcing his instruction. Due to the arrogance of the priest, her cousin doesn't control his temper and responded to the priest saying
" Can't you see father they are disabled?"But the bossy priest responded to them
" Then you should not bring them here?"
After the bur*al, mass has been finished the family request the priest to have an apology, but unfortunately, the bossy priest ignores and responded
" I am s shepherd of this flock and I want you to respect this Church"Nikki's cousin responded
" No, father, What you did was wrong. You know my uncle's condition. You are a wolf of the Church and don't see you as a priest anymore. We only see you as a man wearing a sutana."Gonzales discovered after the incident the bossy priest later transferred from Siquijor. And the priest is eventually under observation of the Bishop.
