It was another comeback of the Megastar Sharon Cuneta having a concert at the Solaire last Oct. 15, 2016.The Megastar shed her tears for many times during her comeback concert. The concert was held at the Solaire Resort and casino and being noticed by her fans that she was in good shape. She looks in good shape and jokingly speaking about her weight loss accomplishments. Her first Manila Concert dubbed to be the intimate entertaining event because the Megastar is blunt and true about her struggles personal and professional and having a long time career in showbusiness for 38 years. From the beginning of the concert she jokingly said"Sabi ko intimate. 'Eto kung pwede nga tanggalin ko na gown ko para mas intimate, pero alam niyo na, may bagyo. Baka mabangungot."She was telling about the current typhoon Karen that had landfall in Luzon. Sharon started the concert with "West Side Story's, "Something's Coming" Again she confesses that
"I'm actually very, very nervous because this is my first show in Manila after four years. My hands are so cold."After some songs she sings to the crowd, she shared the reasons behind the concert and also taking casually that she will turn 50 years old saying
"This show is part of a long celebration. I turned 50 this year. Ba't kelangan nating tumanda? Pwede naman tayong tumangkad, sumeksi"The Megastar takes it seriously when she confess regarding the preparation for the concert
"I was a bit stressed because it's been 4 years since my last Manila show. 1993 I did a show in Cuneta Astrodome called the Mega concert. 1993 was 20 years ago. I remember at the end of that concert, I had a wonderful audience that gave me a standing ovation. I was so touched and said, '20 years from now, are you still going to love me like this?"
The crowds responded with great claps and praises to her. The Megastar agrees at the crowds understanding of her exertion of losing weight
"I know what you're thinking. Mas payat siya sa personal! Kasi ang daya ng TV. Saka tingnan nyo o, wala akong girdle." Attributing to her flat belly she teases it by saying "Ok naman siya. Dati may sariling opinion 'yan. Pag sinabi kong, 'Tuck in tayo,' [sasabihin ng tiyan ko] 'Ayoko!' Ngayon, 'di na 'ko mukhang manganganak bukas.Dati ang problema ko, sa'n ba ako makakahanap ng girdle na turtle neck. Aminin nyo mga babae, anong problema sa hindi turtle neck? Maggi-girdle kayo, bigla kayong magkakabewang, papasok ang tiyan. 'Pag side view nyo bigla kayong kuba. Mabuti na ang walang girdle mas makaka-relax tayo."The Megastar sang her popular song " Mr. DJ" with her female girl Frankie Pangilinan and make known to the crowd that
"..more musically talented than I have ever been or will ever be."She remembered the song " MR.DJ" was did it for her in May 1978, it was her second song and it was a major hit. She was 12 years old and her life was changed lifetime and it is good to come together and sing with her daughter at the age of 15. Frankie appears wearing a long black skirt with long side slit showing her long legs and jokingly said
"Ang haba ng legs. Thank you, Kiko. Ang ganda ng mga anak ko, kasi ako ang mama nila." The Megastar added "She's turning 16. Wala pang boyfriend. Salamat sa Diyos. Ako ka-secret niyan, hindi daddy niya."
After the hit song, she was honest to encourage Frankie to share how she was at home. Her daughter shared that she loves to show excessive fondness after coming from school and press her cheeks including her pimples. The Megastar also sang the hit song of the blockbuster movie with Robin Padilla " Maging Sino Ka Man" remembering her personal and professional relationship with the action star.
"I did this movie with this guy named Robinhood. That's his real name. I just came from a breakup, that never-ending break-up, and many other breakups. This first breakup, to make a long story short, we did this movie. We had so much fun and we fell in love. I would have married him but I found out someone's pregnant so I had to leave. I didn't do anything pa, e. It lasted 2 months. And it gave me beautiful memories and we're very good friends. [That experience] gave me this beautiful song from Rey Valera."Sharon became sentimental as she said to the audiences
"I didn't know what to do here. I wanted to do a show that wasn't just a show where you just get a collection of songs and sing. I wanted to do a show, after four years of not singing in Manila, that came straight from my heart. And from the choice of songs to the people around [whom] I work with that has been taking care of me. God gave that to me. God gave that to me because that is what I wanted to give to you. I gave my heart to you tonight, I hope you know that."
The Megastar admits
"I wanted something new in my life. God gave me the chance to go back to my home station, God gave me Sharon at Solaire. I'm going to do a movie soon-secret with whom and then another movie, and then another movie. I'm going to do an album. My first for Star Music starting next month. There are so many things happening, it's unbelievable."
Her eldest daughter KC Concepcion was not present in the concert but her children with her husband Sen. Kiko Pangilinan were all present. Sharon delightedly said
"How I am now as a person, I am more loving largely because of my family that has loved me and supported me. 20 years of marriage, and we know it's going to be a continuous struggle. But my husband has given to me 20 years. I'm not going anywhere."The Megastar said to her husband
"My beloved husband, 'pag may reklamo [ako], 'pag may naalala [ako] sa ex at nireklamo ko, sa kanya ko nilalabas."She added
"Sweetheart, 'pag naisip ko yun, ang galing mong asawa. Thank you, ha."Sharon made an antics and adding some intimate insinuation
"Ayoko na nga, e, gusto pa niya. Kasi siguro mami-miss niya katawan ko. Ganyan yan, e, kunyari disente, kapita-pitagan sa Senado. Pag nagtanggal ng barong, magtago ka na. Kaya [pala] masakit balakang ko. Sorry, anong ispirito ang pino-possess ako?! Because when you're big, and when your husband is thin, [there is a] danger of getting lost. You cannot find your way. But now the map is very clear. Malandi po yan. 'Di kami magtatagal kung hindi, maniwala kayo sa akin... I love you so much, babe."Sharon's brother Chet is one of her persuasion on that night to fall in tears for missing her brother. The Sharon's team in the voice kids season 3 also performed on the stage. The Megastar finished the concert with her hit song "Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko" and "Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas" as she hand shook and have selfies with the crowds.
Lastly, the Megastar acknowledge Paolo Valenciano for directing her concert and thanking him
" He is so talented, this is his calling. Thank you, Paolo, for accepting this concert. Like I told him, when we're [not at] work, I'm your Tita, you're my nephew. When at work, you're my director and you're my captain. I love you."
