This is the reality of an OFW that they sacrifice and struggles in abroad and when they come back to the country with sickness and injury only little assistance and even no help was expected from the responsible authorities. The modern hero of today's generation suffers the struggles of a hero but did not receive the benefits of it only recognition but the assistance and help especially on their medical assistance and benefits they deserve was not really given to them.
It is a good news to the OFW that Sen. Joel Villanueva is pushing of having a special Hospital for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)as well as their dependents that were called the New Filipino heroes of our generation. This was for the recognition of their heroism and great help and contributions to country's economy. Sen. Joel Villanueva Filed Senate Bill No. 1282, he called it that the hospital will be built specially for the OFW name the "Bagong Bayaning Filipino Hospital"(BBFH) and to be constructed in the National Capital Region (NCR) which will serve as the primary medical facility for OFW's and their dependents.
This is a very good news to all OFW and their dependents that if it will become a law and implemented and the hospital will be constructed it will be a great help for them. Because the struggles and sacrifice of the OFW to be away from their family and relatives can't equal to this services given by the government for their basic needs. Because not all OFW are successful in abroad but some are less fortunate that when they come back in their own country they suffer sickness and illnesses that need financial to have getting healed.
