Cacdac added that the abused OFW will be given assistance and help like disability, medical and livelihood assistance to the victim. The Doctors of the National Hospital will have a visual examination on the patient and will take care of it.
The video posted went viral exposing the actual emotional and physical condition of the OFW that she have severe trauma unable to talk fluently with her fellow Filipino inside the plane. The OFW showing afraid with her fellow passenger and visibly seen experienced physical abused. Other passenger tries to calm and make her relax on his physical condition. Cacdac said that there will be a case filed against her employer in State of Kuwait and the local recruitment agency responsible for sending her to Kuwait. And he will endorse it to the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration(POEA) and to the Department of Foreign affairs(DFA).
According to OWWA data that the approximate OFW in Kuwait abused by their employers and with welfare cases reach to 400. It is a big percentage base on the quantity of Filipino in Middle East Country almost 300,000. The Philippine Government is studying for the temporary deployment or stop of sending OFW especially domestic helpers in the State Of Kuwait. As from the recent news that one Domestic helper Filipina OFW receives capital punishment last month in that country. The Filipino Domestic Helper was identified Jakatia Pawa. Cacdac finally added that the DFA and DOLE thinking about the situation and possibility of a moratorium for the temporary deployment of domestic helpers in the State of Kuwait.
