Traffic Enforcer Hits By A Passenger Jeepney! Here's What Happened?

Another traffic enforcer was hit by a passenger jeepney in the midst of his duty in an intersection. The jeepney hit the traffic enforcer severely that it was thrown away into the center of the road. It was caught by the CCTV installed in the area of the incident. The CCTV footage was caught past 7 in the morning in J.P. Rizal Street in Makati City. The traffic is very normal at that time and there is one traffic enforcer on duty. And unexpected that a passenger jeepney in the right lane pass the road and suddenly hit the traffic enforcer. The impact of the passenger jeepney that hits the traffic enforcer was so strong that he was thrown away in the middle of the road.

Luckily his fellow traffic enforcer and the driver that hit the enforcer immediately assist the victim. The enforcer was identified as Aldrico Comves and fortunately that he doesn't suffer any bone injuries. He is working for almost 11 years and it is the first time happens to him.The wife immediately rushed to the victim because she cannot bear to see her husband to face an accident.Ariel Comves, the brother of the victim also his fellow enforcer added that the driver must learn a lesson.

The jeepney driver identified as Benjie Sebastian was arrested immediately after the incident and extends his apologies to the victim and his family.The wife of the driver Arlene Sipcon tries to settle the charges against her husband and to pay the necessary payment to the enforcer and release them to continue the work of her husband as jeepney driver.According to PO3 Edison Lavadia, the traffic enforcer is in the right position to conduct his duty. He added that maybe the driver is seeing in the other place and in the video that the enforcer was directly hit by the jeepney driver.
